Blessings for Obedience

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (NIV)

"If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God"

~*~

Lord,  help me obey you today and everyday of my life. Give me the desire to follow carefully all your commands. Bless me with a heart that is surrendered to you,to your will and to your ways. Take the driver seat Lord and let me be an obedient passenger. Not only for the blessings that you promise when we obey but let me obey yo because I love you and I honor you.

Thank you Lord. This I pray in Jesus name, Amen

Update on Selah's worship album

The whole band specially my husband (Rudolf) is so happy because finally after being stalled for months they will now resume their recording session and hopefully will finish the entire album in one or two months.

Someone with a good heart supported the band financially and provided the payment for the recording studio. How awesome our God is indeed! To think, we just recently met this woman and heard the band once when we went to their place but God touched her heart. Bless her.

We already have an appointment with the owner of the studio on Saturday, we will discuss about recording schedules and everything we need to finish the album. That includes the CD cover (to which I am now scouting printers over the net, saw eoncode web 2 print software but I don't know if it will work for us) My husband wants a board type CD case and I have to look into that also.

But yes, we are all so grateful. God has heard our prayers.

Philippians 4:13

sharing my devotion to day from Joel Osteen's site. God bless!!

 ~*~*~*~*~

I Can
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13, NKJV)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
When was the last time you declared “I can” out loud? It’s not something people think to do every day. In fact, most people tend to magnify their limitations. They focus on their shortcomings. But scripture makes it plain: all things are possible to those who believe. That’s right! It is possible to see your dreams fulfilled. It is possible to overcome that obstacle. It is possible to climb to new heights. It is possible to embrace your destiny. You may not know how it will all take place. You may not have a plan, but all you have to know is that if God said you can...you can!
Today, why don’t you begin to open yourself up to possibilities in your future by simply declaring this verse, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength?” At the stoplight, when you’re waiting in line, any time you have a second just quote this verse to yourself again. Let it sink down deeply into your heart. As you do, His word will transform you. Faith will rise up in your heart and will boldly embrace the blessings that He has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for empowering me by Your spirit to do everything that I'm called to do. Thank You for Your hand of blessing on me as I submit my ways to You. I declare “I can” do all things in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Blessings :)

My heart is full of praises and thanksgiving to our wonderful Lord who keeps on blessing us good things. And since today is Monday, I wanted to start the week right by giving Him thanks.

First, our church has new keyboard (actually it's second hand) but it is working very well. My husband can't get his hands off it. He is very much happy and he said someone should start using it already. Thank you Lord for the good soul who donated that keyboard for our church use.

Second, Thank you Lord for the weekend blessing (financially). It is always good to receive blessing unexpectedly specially when you know that it's always on the exact time that you needed it. Bless the one whom God used to bless us :)

Third, the joy of having true friends- It's priceless. I just hope I am counted as one too.

Fourth, My father's health, now the only thing he complains is his cough and pleghm. This week, we are expecting another miracle as the Lung Doctor will give us his readings on the biopsy slides (for the fourth and hopefully final opinion) I believe he will have the same reading ( not Cancer) like the three doctors said.

So there you go.

It's always nice and uplifting to give thanks to the Lord, the source of our everything. Have a blessed week everyone! God loves you very much!!

Stay positive

(image from facebook)

Thankful

Yesterday, my Tatay (father) turned 76 years old and my heart is so grateful because he was given another year. And we are all thankful because of the result of his biopsy (which I blogged here). We have yet to see this new doctor but I know and I believe in my heart that indeed it is not cancer.

He received lots of gifts yesterday to his delight. I love that he loved the shirt I gave him (bought it from Bicol where I had a four day trip with  prior to his birthday)

I thank God that we can still give him hugs, kisses and that he is still with us despite being so sick last year. Though his activities are now limited due to his shortness of breath he still tries to at least be active for us. This year he has completely gave up on his normal activities (his locking hex nuts and other tools totally forgotten)but still we are thankful that he can walk on his own with his cane of course.

Last night, I can see that his very happy, with all of us siblings being together for his birthday. He joined me and my husband in dinner and he said he ate much :) And speaking of eating, we had loads of foods yesterday,"lechon" (roasted pig) being the most special and the star in the table.

Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers, thank you for giving my Tatay another year. We are all grateful.
