Christmas is coming

It’s mid- September already and I know there are people who are already buying Christmas gifts to avoid the Christmas Rush in December. I wish to do the same but not this early though, I’ll probably start October. I have more nephews than nieces so checking the cars and power wheels toys is a must for me. For the girls, dolls and cooking set toys are the favorites.

The only thing I hate during Christmas season is the traffic. It is at it worse on that month.

But nonetheless, I am excited for Christmas.

Your first Love

by : Taffi L. Dollar (from Make your day count)

Revelation 2:4 (Amplified Bible)
But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love].

*~*
Do you remember how you felt when you first became born again and were so in love with Jesus that you had to tell everyone? Most likely, however as time went on, the cares of this world began to wear you down and your joy began to diminish. Rather than asking God for help, you tried to do everything in your own strength. Eventually, you felt too overwhelmed to read the bible, go to church or pray.

That’s how separation from God begins. All the devil needs is the slightest crack in your foundation to get a foothold, which unchecked becomes a stronghold; and your spiritual life, health, finances, and relationships begin to suffer. This is the beginning of the end that Satan has planned for you. (John 10.10)

My husband, Creflo, says that whatever you give your attention to is what you will desire. Begin to read the Word every day, whether you feel like it or not; it strengthens your spirit. Go to church to get fed the Word at least twice a week. Rise earlier to spend time talking and listening to God.

Though at first you may not feel like doing these things your desire for the things of God will return and your love for Him will grow. Your heart will once again overflow with love for the Lord.

Have a nice week everyone!!

Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
J oy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "Camp Complaining"
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at hand
Start every day with worship
To "thank" is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
X alting God most high
Y es, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but...
Z ion waits in glory...where none are ever sad!

Further Studies

A friend is seriously considering taking up Masters Degree abroad, she already left her job to pursue it. I hope she’ll discover Knewton’s gmat prep courses because I think it would be a big help for her. I have read many good testimonials about them, people getting good results in the examination. If I am a business graduate too and I want to pursue graduate studies, I’ll probably enroll my self with the same.

Although I also want to study but I might take Counseling or other course that I might use in the ministry and mission fields someday.
