Thankful Thursday - PEACE

John 14:27 (Amplified® Bible)

"Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give {and} bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]"
I love the amplified version of this particular verse, it says very clearly to us that we should stop worrying about everything. So today I am thankful that even in the midst of changes and needs and a lot of things to worry about. God has given us His own PEACE and guess what? God's PEACE is a deep, spiritual peace unaffected by the world. Praise HIM for that!!

I have needs, I have bills to settle, debts to pay, health concerns, decisions to make but I have God's PEACE.

A lot of people are praying for my husband and I. That has translated into peace. I am so thankful we have our faith to sustain us through the trials of this life. I know you are, too. God bless!
P.s. the word verification is restr
(rester, rest-r) :) So I guess I'm a rester in the arms of the Lord.
