Hygiene Day for Urban Poor Kids

We will be having our yearly back to school hygiene day for kids we minister this coming Saturday. Actually it's a bit late this year, we usually do this before the school year begins but we have been occupied with so much the past few months :(

We will be giving each kid a hygiene kit that contains a toothbrush, toothpaste,shampoo, soap, cotton buds and a face towel.  We will also teach them proper hygiene, we will also offer BP checking and free blood sugar testing for their parents. Someday I am hoping we can give free services to pregnant women also like prenatal check ups and well, it would be good if we can have the the best baby monitor also. But our ultimate dream for now is to have the lying in clinic where poor moms can give birth with no expenses and safe.

Please pray that these kids will learn something and that they will feel God's love through this activity.

Thankful Thursday - HAPPY KIDS

Welcome to Thankful Thursday and for the month of JUNE, Iris of Grace Alone is hosting.

Last Saturday was our "Back to school : Hygiene Day":  we taught them basic hygiene, we bathe them , cleaned their ears, clipped their nails, gave them free haircut and fed them. before going home, we gave them some stuff they can use at home (toothpaste, bath soap, toothbrush, face towel, and some school supplies)

I thank the Lord for the people who supported this ministry. may the Lord bless your heart with joy and peace forever :) here are the pictures of the happy kids. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!

Hygiene Day tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is the big event for our kids ministry, “back to school-hygiene day” is happening tomorrow and for sure volunteers will be needing the best wrinkle cream after, hehe. Dealing with hundreds of kids is no joke.

But of course, I know that as we serve these kids we are doing it also for the Lord, in return God will give us JOY that is embedded deed within. Joy that can not be bought and if you are joyful you will not be needing any creams at all to make you feel and look young.

Please pray that this ministry will be instrumental for the kid’s family to come to know Jesus Christ.

Intercede for us please. We need it.

HYGIENE KIT PACKING

Tonight we started packing the HEALTH KIT for the kids on Saturday.
Here are the items included in their kit:

tootbrush
toohpaste
shampoo
bath soap
comb
band aid
cotton buds
hand towel

with some school supplies also like:
notebook
pencil
crayons
eraser
sharpener

I'm sure the kids will love it!!

and of course the pouch bag that we made especially for them!! In behalf of the FISHNETS ministry, I would like again to thank everyone who supported us financially and to those who will volunteer on Saturday..my big thank you. May God bless you all!

Hygiene Day

We also gave them healthy sancks, banana, egg and a chocolate drink! The kids loved it!

And of course they brought home a hygiene kit which contains;

3. cotton buds
4. band aids
5. shampoo
6. a comb
7. a face towel
8. and a bath soap

We're coming up of a hygiene mobile van project, which will cater to kids who live on the streets, we also would like to give and teach them basic hygiene, we hope to tie up with NGO's or Orphanage so they could be taken out of the streets and be able to live a decent life. This is a big big project so we need all your prayers and support.
