Security Products

Do you still remember time card and bundy clock? I do. But I think it is very rare now. Employee punch in has evolved from bundy clock to ID scanners to finger print (which we are using now in our company) I think, it is the best as no one can cheat with that because each one has a unique finger print :)

Anyways, if you (or someone you know) are looking for security products like those I mentioned above, you may point them to http://www.crownsecurityproducts.com. The site might be of help :) They carry wide variety of products from ID verification to pager systems.

Youth Team Building

Yesterday is a non-working holiday here and since it was also school's semestral break, I decided to meet the youth leaders of our church and had a team building session with them at the nearby park. I was actually having a very bad headache that time due to colds and cough but a commitment is a commitment.

I focused mainly on the decision making part.

I am only temporarily handling the youth ministry (as something happened to our youth director) and I pray that I will be able to impart something good and positive  to our young leaders. I realized that it is a tough job, I can't actually do it alone so I am also asking help from others and of course from the Lord who is the main source of wisdom and strength.

I can see a lot of potentials with our youth leaders and I pray they'll be better leaders in our church than we are today.

They just need proper guidance ( with all the distraction this world brings, technologies, gadgets, worldly pleasures, even MK jewelry and the like) they all need the guidance they can get. I hope I can give them that during this time that they are entrusted in my care.

It was a happy session, we talked about new plans and we had a lovely dinner afterwards :)

Looking forward for more of this!!

Forgiveness means

I had discipleship session with the girls last night.  And what a very timely topic we had for our discussion.

FORGIVENESS

As of the moment, we are all struggling for this because someone from our church, somebody whom we trusted, somebody whom we entrusted our youth betrayed us all (well, that's how we feel right now) and we are all hurting specially the youth.

So last night, God reminded us all that forgiveness means PRAYING for that somebody who hurt you

Matthew 5:44 said
"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

Forgiveness also means that you don't take revenge for your self, you try to live at peace with that person. Remember that God will avenge for you.

Romans 12:18-19
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord."

Forgiveness means doing good to that someone who wronged you. You not only live at peace wih him, you don't take revenge but  instead YOU DO GOOD TO THEM.

 Luke 6:27-28
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

I know it is quite hard to do that but that is what God wants us to do. It is hard but if we abide in Christ and His love overflows in us, we will be able to do it because we were also FORGIVEN.

I know it's a long way to go for our youth and for our whole church but God is a God of restoration and forgiveness. We will recover in time.

Thankful Monday- Health

I skipped last week due to an emergency call from the province, my Mom was rushed to the hospital and needed blood transfusion so we hurriedly went home to be with her. Thank God she's fine now.

So here's my list for this week:

1. Thank you Lord that my Mom is now home and doing ok- 3 bags of blood and 4 days in the hospital. She was diagnosed with bad ulcer that she had gastro bleeding, her hemoglobin went so low thus the blood transfusion.

2. Thank you Lord that you provided for the hospital bill and medications. You amazed me always.

3. I am grateful that at least we have free medical check-up here in the office. Confirmed that I should have reading eyeglasses now. I am still waiting for the laboratory tests but my hopes are high that it's all good.

Thank you lord for everything. BIG and SMALL. Thank you.

Thankful Monday #2 - Husband

It's the first day of the week!! and here's my thankful list :)

1. For the joint worship service yesterday. Once every two months, we have this joint worship service in our church (for the Metro Manila areas) and it is always so good to worship the Lord with all your brothers and sisters in the Lord!

2. The fellowship and bonding we had last night over a burger and a cup of coffee :) Thankful of my friends :D

3. For the good weather-which means no heavy rain, no flooding and no disasters.

4. Thankful for my health, though is not ideal and I am still overweight, in fact a plus swim wear might not fit me (good thing I am not into swimwear) but still I am grateful that I am healthy as well as my my husband.

5. and I want to shout at the TOP of my voice how thankful I am for my husband!!!!! He is not a good preacher, nor the best in worship leading BUT He loves the Lord first and foremost and he fears GOD, and for that I will always be his proud wife :)

God bless everyone!! May we all have a thankful heart!!

Thankful Monday #1

Isn't it great to give thanks to the Lord on the first day of work week? For years, I often complain about Monday mornings only because it's the first day of work week and I want to change that habit now.

So, from now on. I will write a thankful post here every Monday. That would give me a happy disposition every Monday morning, I'm sure it will also bring positive and good thoughts and who wouldn't want that di ba?

So here's my Monday thankful list :)

1. Thankful for the good Sunday worship service yesterday. Grateful for the message "signs of the times".

2. Thankful for very very good friends I have in the church.

3. A lot has colds and flu last week. I am thankful, me and my husband are both doing fine.

4. I am also extremely grateful for the house where we currently live now. Yes, it is small but it is free :) and is helping us a lot to save for our own house someday. And small as it is yet, we can still share it to people we love :) It has flaws and the husband think we need high temperature adhesive for the roof and ceiling but still my heart is very grateful for it.

5. Thankful that we both have a job and although most of the time we think that our salaries aren't enough, still I am thankful for the regular income we get every 15th and 30th.

So there you go!! Actually, I could go on and on and on but the post will be too long...

It is so good to give thanks to the Lord!!! You never run out of stuff to give thanks to :)

Take Courage! I am here!

What do you fear?

Is it financial ruin, loneliness, pain, poor health, or the collapse of your family? When you feel afraid, and fear has its strong grip on you, remember this: God is with you. Acknowledging this will allow you to conquer your fear and steady your steps.as you move forward, step by step, your fear will fade away as you recognize that your strength is with God.

He is with you.
