Unified: Worship event

Today, our worship team was privileged to  lead a worship event, a gathering of youth from different churches. The goal is to unite the youth, be one in glorifying the Lord.

Pastor Luis Baldomaro is the guest speaker, composer of timeless praise and worship songs such as "Kasama natin ang Diyos", "Panginoon kay buti mo" and many other christian songs that I grew up to.  He brought with him his music team, there is even a violinist, cool! maybe she is using a violin bridge from musicians friend. I was told later that it was her daughter :)

More than hundreds of young people were ministered to. It was such a very nice sight, seeing young people with hands lifted high, surrendering their lives to the Lord, for sure heaven is rejoicing.

I pray we can have more of this activity and I pray we can reach out to more of young people of our country because I know they will be use mightily by the Lord as end time harvester.

Thank you Lord!! All glory belongs to you!

Thankful Monday- Health

I skipped last week due to an emergency call from the province, my Mom was rushed to the hospital and needed blood transfusion so we hurriedly went home to be with her. Thank God she's fine now.

So here's my list for this week:

1. Thank you Lord that my Mom is now home and doing ok- 3 bags of blood and 4 days in the hospital. She was diagnosed with bad ulcer that she had gastro bleeding, her hemoglobin went so low thus the blood transfusion.

2. Thank you Lord that you provided for the hospital bill and medications. You amazed me always.

3. I am grateful that at least we have free medical check-up here in the office. Confirmed that I should have reading eyeglasses now. I am still waiting for the laboratory tests but my hopes are high that it's all good.

Thank you lord for everything. BIG and SMALL. Thank you.

Blessings :)

My heart is full of praises and thanksgiving to our wonderful Lord who keeps on blessing us good things. And since today is Monday, I wanted to start the week right by giving Him thanks.

First, our church has new keyboard (actually it's second hand) but it is working very well. My husband can't get his hands off it. He is very much happy and he said someone should start using it already. Thank you Lord for the good soul who donated that keyboard for our church use.

Second, Thank you Lord for the weekend blessing (financially). It is always good to receive blessing unexpectedly specially when you know that it's always on the exact time that you needed it. Bless the one whom God used to bless us :)

Third, the joy of having true friends- It's priceless. I just hope I am counted as one too.

Fourth, My father's health, now the only thing he complains is his cough and pleghm. This week, we are expecting another miracle as the Lung Doctor will give us his readings on the biopsy slides (for the fourth and hopefully final opinion) I believe he will have the same reading ( not Cancer) like the three doctors said.

So there you go.

It's always nice and uplifting to give thanks to the Lord, the source of our everything. Have a blessed week everyone! God loves you very much!!

Keep singing, keep praising God

"I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being."- Psalm 146:2 (ESV)

Please keep on praying for the Philippines specifically the Luzon which is mostly affected by the flood due to heavy rains since Monday.

Our office work was suspended for two days, our streets are flooded Tuesday and Wednesday and we are forced to stay inside, my husband though braved the flood to get some food for us. I know now how it feels to be trapped inside your house and then you have nothing to eat. :( And really if you don't know the Lord you'll be scared. I was at times worried but the husband's steady faith keeps me sane :)

What we did for two days? well, because our television was broken and our computer broke down also yesterday we were left with nothing to do but listen to music and sing and also I went back to reading (a real book).

We also had time to clean our home :D My husband found an old musical instruments brochure and enjoyed looking at MF ibanez guitars and other gadgets while cleaning. Over all it was a productive two days for us. Sure the rain stopped the world for a while but we kept on singing, we kept on praising. :)

Have a nice day everyone!

God is good all the time!

These are indeed tough days, in all aspect, spiritual, financial and emotional.

A lot has been happening to us and to the church. Sometimes I can't comprehend anymore, my mind and heart cannot process any longer, all the incidents and stuff. But I am holding on to God's word and that these happenings doesn't indicate that He is not good because God is good all the time, even in the toughest day.

I was actually sick yesterday (emotionally stress and the lack of sleep) are the culprit. I had terrible headache and body pain and was throwing up. Last night, I prayed and ask the Lord to give me complete rest and a sound sleep. I woke up and I feel strengthened :)

Yes, times are hard, situations are not good but GOD is GOOD all the time!

We haven't been to grocery store for like a month now, haven't seen barcode scanner for a while but we were never hungry. yes, money is hard at this point in time but GOD is GOOD all the time!

There is no reason not to praise the LORD everyday because His goodness never fails :)

God will make a way

God will make a way..
when there seems to be no way,
He works in ways we cannot see,
He will make a way for me...

*~*~*
And right now, i just needed to hear that because I'm beginning to get worried for the t-shirt printing job that Rudolf accepted, he needs to finish and delivered it this week because we are leaving next week for the Mission's Conference in Singapore.

We still do not have the complete funds for the mission's conference but....

as it was stated above..

God will make a way and I am certain He will provide. Again I just have to remind my self that God is never too early and was never late.
*~*
And I'm quite sure he's preparing another good surprise for us :) maybe even better than His previous surprises. With God in our lives we have no choice but to get better and better and better (like the tv deals at buy.com.)

Sure there are tough times (like what we are going through now) but that doesn't mean we  will stop here. Tough times will be over and life will be better!!! That I am CERTAIN.

I'm keeping my HOPES and FAITH high.

God bless everyone!!

God of surprises

The God we serve is not just a faithful God, He is also a God full of surprises :)
I know I've also mentioned here that we are moving and the last decision we had was to stay at my sister's place in Bulacan which is quite far (not quite actually) and I was ready to make that long trip to
the office everyday..that's approximately 2 hours to 2 and a half travel time.

But as I have said a while ago, our God wants to surprise us sometime.

My boss whom I didn't inform that we are moving offered a place for us to stay for FREE.

And I am grateful to our Lord who never fails, He is FAITHFUL even if we are not most of the time.

To him be all the glory!

I hope to be back to regular blogging when we're settled for the mean time I have to check this dvi to hdmi cables for my husband.

God is good all the time!

Blessed be your name

"Blessed be your name
on the road marked
with suffering
Though there's pain
in the offering
Blessed be your name"

Shall we only praise God when we are happy? when our life is in "almost perfect" condition?
when we are blessed in abundance? when we are in the peak of our career? when we are healthy and strong?

The last month has been a testing of faith in me again in terms of finances and most of the time it's draining my physical and spiritual health. One morning..I asked  those questions to my self and I ended up praising God and singing songs for Him.

No matter what our situation is, it is best to praise and bless the Lord for He is faithful and He is good even if we are in a bad situation.

Tomorrow is Sunday and we are singing that song in the church, I pray that people will really worship the Lord with all their hearts and focus on His goodness. And with that.. I need to sleep early so I won't be late in church tomorrow. I'll just read the noxycut reviews now and hit the bed in a while.

Remember to REJOICE ALWAYS :) I still have loads of financial problem but  my God will supply all my needs so there is no reason not to praise and worship Him!!

Thank you Lord

for the many gifts we got this Christmas, for the people who actually thought of us, for the friends who made efforts to give us something we will appreciate, more than the material things, Thank you for the gift of love that abounds, for the gift of joy, for the gift of friendship. Thank you for letting us see the real meaning of the season, the reason why there is such a big celebration. And though no one gifted us a Samsung HDTV, what we had is more than enough.

Thank you for sending Jesus your only begotten Son. The most precious gift we have ever received and for that we are forever grateful to you Lord.

God is still Good!!

We maybe in the state of calamity right now, but we will rise! God is still in control and though my heart aches for those who lost their homes and some their loved ones. I will still praise the Lord and say that HE is GOOD! and that he will be able to provide/replace whatever was lost. Homes, business, furniture, cars, annuities and everything.

He did it with in the old testament with JOB, there's no reason He can't do it with us.

Our home was not spared. Here's pictures from our very house during the flood. But then that will not stop us from praising HIM. And that can not stop us also from doing what is supposed to do at this time of need.

In times like this, it is very comforting to know that our life is insured in God's mighty hands. Trust that He will provide for our every need.

Thankful Thursday

This week God showed us again how much He care for us, sometimes we have thoughts that maybe God is so busy to be thinking of the small stuff we need but He is not and He will never be too busy for you.

As I have said on my previous posts, we have already moved and we don't have bed in our new place, we left the one we had at the mission's house because it was not ours. So we planned on buying and I said let us pray and ask God for the provision, hubby looked around for bed frames and saw that it didn't come cheap. We kept on praying.

Last Sunday, our friends (missionary couple) whose going home for schooling after two years of serving here in the Philippines visited our new place and offered us their bed frame. God is really good!!

And last Tuesday morning, I wake up with a text message in my cellphone saying we got money in Western Union. Friends from abroad sent it out without our knowing. God is so amazing. As I am writing my heart is crying over the goodness and the faithfulness of the Lord we serve.

..Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endureth forever!!

let us know what you are thankful for too. Head on to Iris blog and be blessed!

Are you insured?

Most people buy all kinds of insurance, health insurance, educational plan, pension plan and many more plans. We always want to be secure, we want our kids to have the best schools when they grow up, we want to have the best hospital care if ever we get sick and we want to make sure our loved ones won’t have hard time when we left this world thus we buy insurance.

But let me tell you, when you have Jesus in your heart, you’re pretty much secure of everything not only of your needs here while living but the most beautiful part is that you are secure of the place you’re going to when you die.

I love that kind of life insurance no exam needed, no interviews for approval, no requirements. Just give your life to HIM and He will take care of it.

I know I am insured of heaven. Life maybe difficult here at present but I look forward to a life of princess in my Father's house.

But God is good!!

It's so hard to say this but I'll blog it anyway..

We are down to our last penny. I do not know what and how it happened but one more week before payday and we are out of money. And though we do not belong to those who live in a comfortable life (How I wish we are though) this seldom happens because I always always make sure I have money left to pull us through between paydays.

Maybe, God who is our ultimate provider decided it's time for me to learn a lesson in TRUSTING HIM.

And I on the other hand is a reluctant student but would be happy to learn anyway.

So I said in my prayer last night,

"Lord you know we don't have money and it's not yet payday, I TRUST you will provide for us"

Guess what? no, we don't have money yet but we are going out for a dinner tonight!
And I'm smiling..why? because it's as if God is telling me, "you don't have money..well then, I'm going to treat you out on a dinner tonight..that's for TRUSTING ME"

GOD IS SO GOOD AND GREAT!!!

( a friend will treat us to dinner tonight in celebration of their first wedding anniversary, here's her blog post about it :)
