This week I am mostly thankful for God’s word. It is where I drew strength. As I have said yesterday, I’ve been thinking a lot this last week. I know God is giving us new direction and I am so ashamed that most of the time I worry about these changes that are sure to take place.
And also this last week, there are rumors and gossips going around the church and I really really felt bad, though it doesn’t have to do anything with me or with my husband but still I feel it should not be happening especially inside the church and especially when it concerns Pastors and leaders right? So I am affected emotionally. It just that It doesn’t feel right.
And through all those ordeals I’m going through I really thank God for giving me words everyday. Words that keeps me strong, encourages me and keeps me sane. lol
He gave me Isaiah 55:8-9
And Joshua 1:9
And this morning He gave me this song
God Will Make A Way
Words and music by Don Moen
God will make a way,
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way.
By a roadway in the wilderness, He’ll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today.
He will make a way
So I thank God for just being there and giving me strength for each new day.

Hi,
Wow, you are right. angry words and gossip certainly would be upsetting. I pray that your church body can get past the issues through love.
Thank you for sharing your heart. Happy TT. Hugs.
May God sweetly bless you.
I just wrote a devotional on Joshua 1:9! AND it was my verse for Word-Filled Wednesday!
Your list is beautiful and touched my heart. You're right...gossip is not good anywhere, much less the church and her leaders. Thanks for sharing, especially the song.
gossip is not good whether outside or inside the church. it's not right to gossip and it will never be right. that doesn't please God. thank God for God's wisdom. God bless you, rocks.
Your honesty is a blessing. I feel your mixed emotions-may you continue to find your peace in the Lord has He works His way out in you. I will pray for you and your church members. I'm hosting a give-away for a scripture memory program-please feel free to check it out if you get a chance:) Blessings:)

God's word is indeed a wonderful thing to draw strength from. I hope things will work out with your church - it is unfortunate that people can be so hurtful! Thank you for blessing us this week.
thanks for the blessings and encouragement!
God bless you too!
@ Julie - I am also blessed by what you wrote :)
@ Pia- that's why I am hurt when there are issues and gossips in the church because I know it is not right. Thank you for visiting sis!
I too said that I was thankful for God's Word...That doesn't even describe exactly how my spirit, my mind, my body truly feels about God's Word. It is LIFE....
Thanks so much for sharing.
It's sad when the church acts no differently than the world. I just spoke at our women's group about things that keep us from intimacy with Jesus...and one of those things is gossip. Praying for you to rise up and be strong. God is faithful and will give you His clear direction. Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day. Mary
Oh I am so sorry about the gossip in your church. I understand your pain, I actually left a church years ago because of a similar situation. Leaving wasn't the right thing to do but I was young & immature at the time so running was my answer. How I pray God reveals to you the path He wants you to take through this, gives you the words He wants you to say and reminds you continually how He is standing right by you as you go through this. Hopefully it "rights" itself soon. Blessing!
I, too, am thankful for the Word of God. Praying for your church and the issues you're facing there. Happy TT!
I am so sorry that you have been through some difficult times this past week. Whoever said that words don't hurt...never were hurt by words of others.
I absolutely love that song and it blessed my heart each time that I hear those beautiful words. So much meaning and a very powerful message in this song.
Happy TT!
